In brief

Two things happen here and no others: published material about boilers is set out, and a call is passed to an independent contractor. NXTA Flow operates BoilerBridge, services no pressure vessel, sells no boiler, and tells nobody to open one.

BoilerBridge is a referral service, not a contractor. We connect homeowners with independent contractors. Contractors are required to hold whatever credential their state or municipality demands. Every state page sets out who licenses plumbers there and where to check, so you can confirm before work begins. We carry out no work, we sell no equipment, we do not set prices, and we never charge homeowners anything — the contractors in our network pay us when we route them a call.

What BoilerBridge is

BoilerBridge connects homeowners with independent contractors for boiler and hydronic heating work. We carry out no work and sell no equipment.

The contractors in our network pay us when we route them a call. Homeowners are never charged anything, and we do not set or see the price you are quoted.

Why we cover fewer towns than we could

Because a boiler page for a town where almost nobody has a boiler carries one fact and it is not a useful one. We publish town pages where fuel oil reaches 5% of households and state pages everywhere else. The rule and its consequence are on the coverage page.

Where the numbers come from

Efficiency standards are DOE’s residential boilers final rule and its federal purchasing guidance. The carbon monoxide guidance is CPSC’s, reproduced rather than paraphrased. Town figures are the US Census Bureau’s American Community Survey, table B25040, 2023 release. All are named and linked on the pages that use them.

We publish no service life for a boiler, no repair price, and no date for the DOE standard — the published rule carries a placeholder rather than a date, so we do not print one.

Contractors are required to hold whatever credential their state or municipality demands. We do not vouch for anyone; each state page sets out who issues the license there and where to look it up.

A boiler is not a furnace, and the person you want knows the difference.Tell us it is a boiler, tell us what the gauge reads if you can see it, and we will route you to somebody in your area who works on them. You are never charged. Boilers give this site its name and not its limits.
